Aldi has Pink Lady Apples 1kg for $0.80 right now, which is extraordinary value when Woolies is charging $7.50 per kilogram for the same apple. Coles comes in at $1.50 and IGA at $1.58, so Aldi's not just cheaper, it's in a different league. With grocery bills climbing (ABC News reported this week that the same basket costs 8.5% more in 2026 than it did in 2025), a bag of crisp Pink Ladies for under a dollar is exactly the kind of win worth grabbing. Perfect for school lunchboxes, fruit bowls, or just snacking through the week.
