Woolies has Golden Crumpets Round on special for $2.00 this week, down from the regular $4.80, so you're saving $2.80 a pack. Aldi is technically the cheapest at $1.99, but the gap is a single cent, so if you're already doing your Woolies shop you won't bother making the trip. Coles comes in at $2.10, and IGA has them on special too at $3.50 (was $5.00), though that's still well above what the big two are asking. At $2.00 a pack these are a genuinely handy school-morning staple, pop them in the toaster, add butter and Vegemite, and you've got breakfast sorted in under two minutes. Stock up while the special's on.
