Aldi has brown onions 1kg for $0.63 this week, which makes Woolies and IGA's $4.00 price tag look almost comical. That's a $3.37 saving on something you'll toss in nearly every dinner you cook this week. Brown onions are the kind of pantry staple you don't really notice until you run out mid-soup or mid-roast, so it's worth grabbing a bag while Aldi's got them this cheap. Coles is even sharper at $0.46 if you've got one nearby, but $0.63 at Aldi is still a no-brainer compared to what the other two are charging.
