Aldi's Market Fare Garden Peas 1kg is sitting at $3.99 today, which is hard to justify when Coles has the same 1kg bag for $1.80. If you're doing a freezer run for school lunches or a midweek stir-fry, Coles is the obvious first stop. IGA's got a decent special on too at $2.80 (down from $3.60), saving you 80 cents off Aldi's price if Coles isn't nearby. Frozen peas are one of those no-fuss pantry staples worth stocking up on, especially with fresh vegetable wholesale prices up 22% this year pushing shoppers toward the freezer aisle.
