Coles has the Heinz Big Red Tomato Sauce 300-pack portion sachets for $6.00 right now, which stacks up well against Aldi's $1.75 (for a much smaller pack) and a second Coles listing at $8.40. With fresh tomatoes hitting "never-seen-before" prices at supermarkets due to a virus outbreak and wet weather battering supply this June, getting your sauce fix locked in before prices ripple further into processed lines makes sense. Three hundred little sachets is enough to last the whole school term, and they're perfect for the esky at weekend sport without the mess of a squeeze bottle. Stock the pantry now and you won't be thinking about sauce for a while.
