Aldi has Calypso Mangoes at $3.99 each today, which puts it a touch above the $3.50 going rate at Coles, Woolies and IGA right now. IGA's actually the standout this week though, they've got it on special at $3.50, down from $6.00, so you're saving $2.50 a mango if you've got one nearby. Calypso is one of the sweeter, low-fibre varieties, so it's brilliant for the school lunchbox or slicing up at a weekend barbie without the stringy mess. Grab a few while the price is in this range, mango season doesn't last forever and wholesale prices have been jumping around plenty this year.
